Free UTM Campaign Builder

Build a properly formatted campaign URL that Google Analytics and most other analytics tools read automatically.

The platform or site sending the traffic.

The general channel type — social, email, cpc, referral.

The specific promotion or campaign.

Mostly used for paid search keywords.

Distinguishes similar links to the same destination.

Turn the result into a clean, shareable link

A fully tagged URL can run 80+ characters past the base address — fine for analytics, but not something you want to paste into a social post or print on anything. Once you have the generated URL above, paste it into PocoLink to get a short, readable link that still redirects to the fully tagged destination. Your analytics still see every UTM parameter; your audience just sees a clean link.

For the full explanation of what each parameter does and the mistakes that quietly break campaign data, see How to Track Marketing Campaigns Using UTM Parameters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need all five fields?

No — only Campaign Source, Medium, and Campaign Name are required to get useful, structured analytics. Term and Content exist for finer-grained comparisons once the basics are already set up.

Will this change my destination page?

No. UTM parameters are just added to the end of the URL as a query string — they don't change, move, or affect the page itself. Your analytics tool reads them when the visitor arrives.

Should I use this on links within my own website?

No — UTM tagging is meant for external links only (social posts, emails, ads). Adding UTM parameters to a link from one page of your own site to another can overwrite that visitor's original source in most analytics setups.

The generated URL is long and ugly for a social post — what do I do?

Shorten it. Paste the generated URL into PocoLink to get a short, shareable link that still redirects to the fully tagged destination — you get a clean public URL and your analytics data intact.
